Jacob Lewis

Jake leads buying for Prosperity Time and is the firm's specialist on vintage Rolex sport references, Patek Philippe perpetual and chronograph calibers, and Vacheron Constantin's Overseas and Patrimony lines. He has been authenticating and trading watches professionally for over a decade.

Before joining Prosperity Time, Jake spent six years working with one of the largest pre-owned watch wholesalers in the United States, where he handled inventory acquisition and authentication for several of the country's largest authorized-dealer trade-in programs.

He writes the more technical pieces on this site — reference deep dives, caliber comparisons, and anything that requires a loupe and a timing machine.
