The Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle collection is where the manufacture's three centuries of accumulated watchmaking knowledge is most fully expressed. While the Patrimony embodies minimalism and the Overseas athletic refinement, the Traditionnelle is the home of grand complications — those extraordinary mechanical achievements that define the apex of watchmaking art. Minute repeaters (ref. 6000T), tourbillons (ref. 89000), split-seconds chronographs, perpetual calendars (ref. 43175), and combination pieces that house multiple complications simultaneously have all appeared in the Traditionnelle. Many Traditionnelle references are produced in extremely small series — sometimes under 50 pieces globally — making them genuine museum objects that occasionally appear at auction or through specialist dealers. The Traditionnelle line also includes more accessible configurations: the reference 82172 is a manual-winding time-only piece in 36.5mm, offering entry to the collection's aesthetic language at relatively accessible pricing. The movement finishing on all Traditionnelle pieces carries the Hallmark of Geneva — meaning every component visible through the caseback has been hand-bevelled, hand-polished, and decorated to the highest standard the art of watchmaking recognizes.
